The Communications team has many roles, but its main responsibility is to ensure that you know what the council does.

We work with the local press, radio stations and television broadcasters as well as produce a variety of council publications and keep our website up-to-date.

South Somerset News is a quarterly newsletter distributed to all residents of South Somerset. It is designed to let you know what's going on in your community and to inform you how we best spend your council tax.

It's printed on recycled paper at a cost of 4.5 pence per copy and delivered by Royal Mail.
