The National Procurement Concordat requires us to adopt
an small medium enterprise-friendly strategy, and to encourage
a mixed range of suppliers, in the aim
of stimulating a varied and competitive marketplace.
The Concordat sets out the actions that local authorities should
take in order to make their contracts more accessible to SMEs, and
is directly aligned to our strategy of engaging with small/medium
enterprises and regional suppliers.
