South Somerset District Council's Area South Committee awarded
£2186 in Jan 2011 to help with the purchase and installation of IT
computer equipment for the fantastic new meeting room located in
the new Milford Hall which re-opened in December 2010 after
extensive refurbishment.
As internet access is not readily available to all residents in
the Milford area, the IT Hub could be used to host an internet
cafe, homework clubs, job/employment search clubs, training
courses, holiday activities, digital media courses, recreational
use and other advice activity groups all providing different
opportunities and needs for residents of South Somerset of all
ages.
