Regeneration and Renewal Officers Marie Ainsworth and Chereen Smith, their main role being to persue the regeneration of Yeovil town centre including both the suburban and rural hinterlands to enable the achievement of priority projects which address local need.

Initially the regeneration work focussed on the eastern end of Yeovil town centre, however, in 2005 Somerset District Council and the Local Strategic Partnership produced a document as part of the 'Yeovil Vision' entitled 'Yeovil Urban Development Framework', this document sets out an ambitious agenda for positive change.
