We support the Area West Committee to help local communities become better places to live and work. We provide help and assistance on a wide range of community projects and local issues. The Area Development team can also advise on funding and support from SSDC to local projects.
Community grants are available to voluntary and charitable organisations, not for profit groups, Parish or Town councils and other organisations that benefit the wider community
The Area West Community Offices are located at Crewkerne and Ilminster, and the Area Office is at Chard.
