Customer Service Advisors can help you to access a wide range of

You can make debit card payments at our Chard, Crewkerne
and Ilminster Offices for Council Tax, Business Rates, Parking
fines, Bulky collections and our Garden Waste Service.
Cash payments can be made at Chard using our cash machine.
Crewkerne Community Office
We are based in the Council Office at Market Square, TA18 7LN
along with the Town Council and Local Information Centre.
There is a public access computer where you can access the
Homefinder website for Housing applications and bidding, and also
the SSDC website.
The office is open 4 and a half days per week:
- Mon, Tues, Weds: 9.00am to 1.00, 1.30 to 5.00pm

9.00am to 1.00pm

Fridays:
9.00am to 1.00, 1.30 to 4.00pm
Ilminster Community Office
We are based at the lower end of North Street TA19 0DG adjacent
to the Market Square, along with the Town Council.
The office is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between
9.15am and 1.45pm.
Chard Area Office
This is at the Holyrood Lace Mill, Holyrood Street TA20 2YA
where we share the building with the Library and Registrar.
There is a public access computer where you can access the
Homefinder website for Housing applications and bidding, and the
SSDC website. We also host a Jobpoint and Jobphone, to give
free access to Jobcentreplus services. There is a free phone
for the public to contact Social Services and all SSDC
departments. There is a Planner here
on Mondays.
The office opens at 9.00am every weekday, and closes at 5.00pm
(4.45pm Fridays). Please note the cash machine shuts at
4.40pm.
