Religion or belief

We aim to tackle faith inequality.

 Religion or Belief

Religion has the meaning usually given to it but belief includes religious and philosophical beliefs including lack of belief (e.g. Atheism). Generally, a belief should affect your life choices or the way you live  for it to be included in the definition.

Inter Faith week occurs annually. Its aims are:

to strengthen good inter faith relations at all levels

to increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and wider society; and
to increase the understanding between people of religious and non-religious belief
