The Triennial Review report, How Fair is Britain?, published by the
Equality and Human Rights Commission identified that:
- Lesbian, gay and bisexual people experience a higher than
average rate of unfair treatment, discrimination, bullying or
harassment at work than other employees
- Lesbian, gay or bisexual people may be more likely than average
to attempt suicide or commit acts of self-harm

The Consortium of LGBT voluntary and
community organisations is a national membership organisation
focusing on the development and support of LGB&T groups,
projects and organisations; so they can deliver direct services and
campaign for individual rights.
