Community projects cannot always afford to take out commercial
loans to make investments into facilities. However sometimes
projects will provide sufficicient income in the future to repay
loans, and this can be added to what can be achieved through
fundraising and grants.
SSDC may be able to offer loans to projects for new local
facilities at a relatively low rate of interest (the Public Works
Loan Board rate).
