Chard reservoir
Chard Reservoir is home to a wide variety of wildlife species
and is especially good for birdlife; there is always something
to see.
Ham Hill Country Park
Ham Hill is a 164 hectare (390 acre) country park
centred on an Iron Age hill fort/ There is extensive free car
parking on site and plenty of open hilly landscape to explore, as
well as shady woodlands and interesting old quarry
areas.
Yeovil Country Park
This diverse 127 acre park includes the areas known as
Ninesprings, Penn Hill Park, Summerhouse Hill and Riverside Walk.
There are rivers, lakes, waterfalls, open grassland, woodland and a
children's play area.
