Health Walks

Chrarlton Horethorne Health Walk : Walkers taking part in the first Charlton Horethorne Health Walk
Health Walks are becoming increasingly popular in South Somerset. The Community Activity and Lifestyle Team has helped to set up walks across the district.

Seven out of 10 people aren't currently active enough to benefit their health. Health walks are a great way of getting exercise and they are also a good way of meeting people.

Why not take a health walk and enjoy the beautiful South Somerset countryside? Your walk should be 'brisk' if you are aiming for health benefits. You could make new friends, relieve stress and benefit your health!

The following health walks cover the whole district. To find the health walk you want, find the town nearest to you and click on the walk you would like to view. Walks range between 1 and 4 and half miles.

If you have any feedback on any of the walks let us know at active@southsomerset.gov.uk

Make a difference to your community!

Attend our FREE Health Walk Leader Training. This training will give you the confidence and knowledge to set up a successful health walk in your town or village.
