Housing Advice Centre

Our Housing and Welfare team is available to give advice, and take action, to help find the right housing solution for you. Our aim will be, wherever possible, to keep you in your current accommodation. Where this is not possible, we will assess your other housing options and give you advice and assistance to secure alternative accommodation.

The Housing Advice Centre in Yeovil is home to our Housing and Welfare team.  The Team comprises staff who specialise in the prevention of homelessness, develop links with private sector landlords, manage the Homefinder Somerset housing register and give advice on welfare benefits.  The Council's Gypsy sites are managed from the Centre.

Please contact us to make an appointment to speak to a Housing Officer.  We want to make the best use of your time during your visit, so you will need to allow up to an hour for your appointment.  This will ensure that we have adequate time to assess your housing situation and give you advice on your housing options.

The Housing Advice Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm.

Please see the map below for directions.
