Langport & River Parrett Visitor Centre

Information

The Visitor Centre is located beside the River Parrett, near the town centre. Langport is situated 15 miles east of Taunton, and 15 miles north west of Yeovil. For more information download the Langport Visitor Centre leaflet [871kb] (pdf document)

Entry to the centre and car parking is free. Cycle hire, sales and servicing is also available from Bow Bridge Cycles which is located in the Visitor Centre. Various opening times apply.

Opening Times

Opening times for Bow Bridge Cycles and the Langport Visitor Centre:

April to September

• Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 6pm
• Closed Mondays except during Easter, Whitsun and Summer school holidays.

October to March

• Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 4pm
• Closed Mondays

Cycle Hire Prices

Cycles can be hired by the half day, full day or longer. A deposit and identification will be required. Booking is advisable, call Bow Bridge Cycles on 01458 250350.

Examples of hire prices:

• Adult Bicycles - £10 full day / £7 for 3 hours
• Tandem - £20 full day
• Junior Bicycles - £7 full day / £5.50 for 3 hours
• Trailer Bikes - £7 full day / £5.50 for 3 hours
• Family Rate (2 adults & 2 children under 16 years) - £29 full day
