Summer placement scheme
|
Sorry, we are unable to offer any summer placements for
2011.
Our Summer Placement Scheme provides students with
an opportunity to find out what working in Local Government is all
about.
A limited
number of paid placements are available each summer for those in
education to find out about the variety of work available in Local
Government. The work will either be a project related to a
student's area of interest or to provide general holiday cover.
If you would
like to take part in our Summer Placement Scheme, please contact us for more
information.
If you are
considered a possible match to a placement opportunity you will be
contacted for interview.

Work experience
|
|
We also provide
opportunities for unpaid work experience placements of up to two
weeks for 15 and 16 year olds from local schools.
These
placements are usually set up by the school, who provide us with
information about the student's preferred area of work. To find out
the type of work available, please see our corporate
management structure page.
