Football Foundation
The Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities
in the world and certainly the largest in the UK. Funded by the
Premier League, The FA and the Government, the Football Foundation
is a unique partnership between Central Government and the UK's
leading sports industry.
The mission of the Football Foundation is to improve
facilities, create opportunities and build
communities throughout England.
Football Foundation - Funding Schemes
The Facilities Scheme provides funding to develop new or
improve facilities for community benefit. These include changing
rooms or clubhouses, grass or artificial pitches and multi-games
areas.
The Community Scheme aims to create opportunities and build
communities by funding projects that use football and sport as tool
to development social change. This scheme also funds projects that
address social exclusion and inequalities in education and
health.
The Small Grants Scheme aims to support small
projects that aim to increase participation by both players and
volunteers in grass roots football by supporting the costs
associated with providing new activity.
The Goalpost Safety Scheme provides grants to replace
football goals, which fail to meet the British Standards safety
requirements and also new goalposts for new pitches.
The Junior Kit Scheme provides grants for junior kit
and equipment to under 18 teams and adults with disabilities.
