Core Strategy Project Management Board Reports

Local Development Framework Project Management Board
Consideration of representations and new evidence on Draft Core Strategy 2011 -
Agendas, meetings and minutes

The District Council undertook a public consultation in October - December 2010 on the Draft Core Strategy, a document that sets out the proposed Planning Strategy for the District for the next 20 years. Since that time the Planning Policy Team has been considering representations made and presenting this information to the Local Development Framework Project Management Board  ((LDF PMB). The LDF PMB is a steering group of Members/Officers set up by the Council's District Executive (the Council's executive committee) to oversee the development of the Council's Core Strategy.  It is not a decision making body however it has been considering representations made on the Core Strategy, emerging new evidence and changing Government policy.

The Board will be making recommendations to the Council's District Executive on the basis of reports received and considered.  These recommendations are to be presented in a report to District Executive for its meeting on 26th March 2012.The Board's Agendas, Minutes and Reports should not be considered to form Council policy but present the information and evidence supporting their recommendations to the District Executive.  As such it is appropriate that there is public access to these if requested to help to understand the Board's recommendations to District Executive.

Prior to its consideration by District Executive the Board's recommendations are to be considered by each of the Council's Area Committee's for their consideration and comment. (Area North on 22nd, February, Area South on 7th March, Area East on 14th March and Area West on 21st March).
