About the service Customer Services is responsible for all telephone calls to our main telephone number of 01935 462462. We also run the reception counter at main council offices.
Service standards

We care about the service we give you.  In all of our dealings with you we will:

  • Resolve your query at first point of contact, wherever possible.

We monitor and report the following information on a monthly basis:

Percentage of calls answered within 30 seconds - Target of 80 per cent or more.

Percentage of calls answered within 60 seconds - Target of 90 per cent or more.

Resolve queries at first point of contact - Target of 60 per cent or more.

Customer Satisfaction Surveys:

To measure and monitor customer perception we also undertake a telephone survey at least 3 times a year.  One target for this survey is 95% or more of customers either satisfied or very satisfied with the overall SSDC service on the telephone.
