Please be advised that a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required for some roles. This will be indicated on the advert and role profile and will be sent to successful candidates to complete prior to commencing employment. Where a standard or enhanced DBS check is required, details of spent and unspent convictions which are not protected under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) will be required to be disclosed which will be taken into account, where relevant, when considering suitability for the post. In order to comply with the Act, a DBS check will only be required following careful consideration of the risks associated with a particular role or activity and where it would be covered by the Exceptions Order.
