What we’re looking for…
Working in our Yeovil Crematorium, we are looking for a Case Officer to join a hard working and friendly team providing a vital and important service to the residents of South Somerset.
They must have a good knowledge of IT systems and processes and proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook. They must also be confident and able to learn new things, such as systems and processes.
The Crematorium has several visitors and members of the public calling to make arrangements or enquiries. Therefore, the role requires someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service to people during often challenging and difficult times and therefore good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The Crematorium is a very busy environment and there are times where a ‘can do’ approach is required to support the team. The ability to work under pressure and supporting a team who needs to deliver tight deadlines is important.
