We have a new exciting opportunity to apply and become a valued member of the Customer Connect Team, helping South Somerset to be a place where businesses flourish, communities are safe, vibrant and healthy and residents enjoy good housing and cultural, leisure and sporting activities.                             

Hours:  37 hours (Fixed Term Contract 31st March 2022) 

What we’re looking for…

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated team players to join our busy team of Customer Connect Officers.  As part of this team, you will deliver customer services to external customers as part of a highly effective and professional multiskilled customer service team. You will proactively manage and resolve customer issues through a range of channels, supporting and encouraging customer empowerment and self-serve.

The successful candidates will have experience working in a customer-facing environment and be able to demonstrate they are resourceful, flexible and able to use their initiative. First-class listening skills and an ability to put yourself in the customer’s position are essential.  A good standard of general education, including GCSE at grade C or above or equivalent in English and Maths and a good level of IT skills are required.
