We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Investment Project Manager to join us. What we’re looking for…

South Somerset District Council is ambitious for itself and the communities it serves.

We have assembled a major commercial property portfolio and continue to rationalise our operational property assets.  We are also working with other Somerset council teams to prepare for our new unitary council which will hold over £200m of commercial investment property.

We are now seeking to recruit a dynamic experienced property professional to help drive the delivery of this.

Reporting to the Commercial Property, Land and Development Manager you will have drive and ambition together with varied property and management expertise, encompassing investment, development, regeneration and operational property.  This is both a professional and creative role, requiring innovation and imagination in the use, development, assembly and management of a suitable portfolio of assets.

This is a management role in a transforming Council which is moving all areas of service delivery to a streamlined and customer driven way of working.

Property will be pivotal to meeting the Council’s future ambitions including financial management, income generation, regeneration and housing development.

You will be based in Yeovil, with work across the whole of South Somerset, in a wider area for our investments, and where required with other authorities and agencies in the region.
