South Somerset is a Council that is ambitious for its communities. Despite the challenges public services face, the Council is determined not to let this impact on its commitment to improve the lives of residents and develop a vibrant economy. We have adopted a new, more commercial business model and approach whilst retaining a focus on our core mission, to serve communities and improve quality of life.
As a result, South Somerset provides high quality services to its communities and has an ambitious programme of projects and initiatives across our district. We offer personal development for people who want to succeed for themselves, the organisation and the communities we serve.
