Free Tourism Literature Exchange

51 tourism businesses have booked to exhibit their promotional materials and offers at this year's annual Literature Exchange organised by South Somerset District Council.

The event, to be hosted by Haynes International Motor Museum on Tuesday 28 March, provides tourism businesses with the ideal opportunity to update their knowledge on the latest facilities and offers for visitors to enjoy in the area and to collect their supplies of leaflets for the upcoming season.

If you run a pub, café or visitor attraction, or provide accommodation or tourist information services, the Literature Exchange will enable you to:

  • Pick up leaflets to display at your premises
  • Network with colleagues working in the tourism industry
  • Meet the team from South Somerset District Council, including the Business Support Officer

Haynes International Motor Museum has generously extended an invitation to tourism businesses attending the Literature Exchange, to take the opportunity to visit the museum free of charge.  The invitation is valid for 28 March only.

Councillor Clare Aparicio Paul, SSDC Portfolio Holder for Tourism, said: "The Literature Exchange encapsulates all that is great about the Somerset tourism trade and how businesses work together to make sure customers get the best they can from their time in the county.  Products being shown off at the Exchange include cycle routes around Langport and new interactive history events in the South West."

The event on 28 March runs from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and is free to attend.  To confirm attendance, please email or ring 01935 462390
