Yeovil Country Park is now up for Fields in Trust UK's

The South Somerset District Council Countryside Rangers,
Volunteers, Friends of Yeovil Country Park group and Ninesprings
Café team were delighted to welcome over 1000 children to a
fabulous ghostly trail around the woodlands and waterfalls of
Ninesprings. The witches of Ninesprings handed out a gruesome
amount of chocolate to children finishing the trail and completing
the missing words of the spell.
The event was kindly supported by Tesco Yeovil and Community
Champion April was on hand to help throughout the event. All
money raised at the event will go back into projects, events and
works at the Country Park, through the active Friends Group.
Countryside Manager Katy Menday said: "It was a truly fabulous
day, helped by perfect autumn weather and lots of great artwork and
costumed creatures all developed by our talented ranger team and
volunteers. It is always lovely to see families and friends
out and enjoying the country park and this event really
crystallises what is so great about Ninesprings…..everyone working
together. Volunteers, friends, businesses and the rangers all
came together to deliver a quite magical experience for many
children and their families".
