Grab the latest tourism promotional materials for your business at the Tourism Leaflet Exchange
Pubs, cafés, visitor attractions and those who provide accommodation or tourist information services have an ideal opportunity in April to grab the latest leaflets from 50 local tourism businesses in and around South Somerset.
On Tuesday 2 April, South Somerset District Council (SSDC) will play host to the free Tourism Leaflet Exchange at the Westlands Entertainment Venue in Yeovil. The Leaflet Exchange will give each of the tourism attractions the chance to exhibit their promotional literature.

The event provides an ideal opportunity for businesses to update their knowledge on the latest facilities ahead of the upcoming season as well as networking with their colleagues across the tourism industry.
The exchange also offers the opportunity to meet the SSDC’s Economic Development Team to find out about business support available locally and get tips on entering the South West Tourism Awards from one of the organizers, Nell Barrington.
Councillor Sylvia Seal, South Somerset District Council’s portfolio holder for Leisure and Culture, said: “The Leaflet Exchange is a great opportunity for local businesses to swap promotional materials to promote everything that is great in South Somerset. We are once again thrilled that so many businesses have confirmed their place and we look forward to welcoming plenty of other businesses to take the leaflets away.”
The event will run from 10.00am until 12.00pm and is free to attend. To confirm your attendance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 09135 462781.
