Open spaces and play area user survey open for you to have your say
South Somerset District Council (SSDC) has opened their Open spaces and play area users survey for you to have your say.
You may have competed the Open spaces survey beforehand. If you have, after giving some details about yourself, you’ll be asked if you participated in the survey when it was initially launched. If you did, you may select ‘yes’ which will take you to the new questions in the updated questionnaire.
SSDC is eager to collect a variety of responses from those using recreational grounds and open spaces. By giving us your ideas and feedback we can find potential points of improvement, allowing us to ensure that your time in our open spaces are safe, accessible and enjoyable for all.
Councillor Sylvia Seal, portfolio holder for leisure and culture at South Somerset District Council, said: “It’s well known that open spaces and the outdoors helps to improve health. The Open Spaces Survey allows users, and non-users, to tell us exactly what they think of the parks and green spaces in South Somerset. I would encourage as many people as possible to complete the five minute survey”.
To have your say, complete our Open spaces and play area users survey or visit one of the following locations to pick up a printed copy:
- The Council Offices, Brympton Way, Yeovil
- Yeovil Town House
- SSDC Office, Churchfields, Wincanton
- SSDC Office, Lace Mill, Holyrood Street, Chard
If you can’t reach these locations, Parish and Town Councils have been emailed the survey which can be printed on to paper on request.
The survey will run until Tuesday 30 April.
