CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): Connect hub at Petters closed to public but we're still here to support you
Our Connect customer hub at Petters Way has been closed with immediate effect following Government advice but we are continuing to deliver essential services to the public.
Hundreds of our staff are still working hard to ensure we can deliver for our communities as well as push forward with key projects.
Council Leader Val Keitch said: “We recognise that providing our services in South Somerset is vital at this time and in the months of recovery that will follow.
“It will undoubtedly be challenging to maintain all services over the coming weeks and so we will be prioritising support for residents, communities and businesses.
“We are already starting to see an increase in demand from people facing hardship due to the virus and its impact on businesses. We promise to support you and support all of our communities.”
If you need to contact us, you can visit our website – where many of our services are offered online – at www.southsomerset.gov.uk or by phone at 01935 462462.
Further updates will be provided as to alternative arrangements for people if they are not online or have access to a phone.
Provisions are also being made for those who need to use our homelessness service.
