Park Yoga has gone virtual to bring yoga to the safety of your home

| District

Park Yoga is a charity that provides free outdoor yoga sessions around the UK including at Yeovil Country Park.

We're very pleased to share the news that during the Coronavirus crisis, it has now gone virtual. Sessions will be live every Sunday from 9.30am.

Here's the announcement from the Park Yoga team:

"Our weekly sessions usually run throughout the summer for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We aim to encourage people to take part in activities outdoors which are good for their health and wellbeing.

"But, for now, the session will be virtual. Just like our events; the virtual sessions are FREE, everyone is invited (including children, dogs and cats!) and all abilities are welcome. If you are looking to experience yoga for the first time, try a new class or just enjoy practicing in natural surroundings then Park Yoga is for you.

"More 500 people took part in our pilot session and we are excited to be bringing you weekly Virtual Park Yoga.

"Whilst Park Yoga isn’t able to bring you these sessions in partnership with our fantastic venues, we hope you will embrace the spirit of Park Yoga and get out in your garden for your practice where possible. Otherwise please enjoy the sessions in the comfort of your own home and we look forward to welcoming you to our online community.

"If you would like to support Park Yoga’s mission to bring yoga to as many communities as possible, you can do so by making a donation at www.parkyoga.co/donate"

You can see the sessions live, or try them any time, on Park Yoga's Youtube channel.
