Restart Grants: Payment delay information

We are aware that some applicants of the Restart Grant scheme are experiencing some delays in receiving their payment. 

The delay is due to the more stringent external checks for the prevention of fraud that the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy have asked councils to undertake.

We (SSDC) have assessed all current outstanding applications and if we have required more information from you, you should have received an email to this effect. You may have already had an email to say that your application has been successful. 

Payments will start to be made from Friday 30th April 2021.
