Important changes are being made to Homefinder Somerset this summer

Some important changes are being made to Homefinder Somerset this summer. This includes improvements to the website and the online application form. These changes are being made following feedback received from people registered with Homefinder Somerset and organisations who work with them.  

Because of the work being undertaken there will be some short-term disruption to normal service over the summer. 

Are you already registered with Homefinder Somerset and able to bid for homes?   

If you want to make changes to your application, or have made changes but not yet submitted them, the changes must be submitted by Friday 25th June. Any changes that are not submitted by this date will be deleted.  

To complete and submit changes to your application please make sure you work through all of the sections and click 'Submit Form' on the Confirmation page at the end of the form.  

It will not be possible to make changes to your application between Friday 25th June and Monday 2nd August. You will then be able to make changes to your application again from Monday 2nd August.  

Do you want to register with Homefinder Somerset? 

If you want to register with Homefinder Somerset, or have started an application but not yet submitted it, please complete and submit your application by Wednesday 28 July. Any applications that are not completed and submitted by then will be deleted.  

To complete and submit your application, please make sure you work through all of the sections and click 'Submit Form' on the Confirmation page at the end of the form.  

Mutual Exchange on Homefinder Somerset is ending on 31 July 

It will no longer be possible to advertise your home for mutual exchange on Homefinder Somerset from 31 July 2021. This decision has been taken following a review of the effectiveness of mutual exchanges on Homefinder Somerset.   

You can use other websites to seek a mutual exchange such as Homeswapper or House Exchange. Please contact your landlord for more information.  

If you have also registered with Homefinder Somerset, this will not affect your housing application and you will still be able to bid for homes that are being advertised by partner landlords.
