The Statements of Persons Nominated for the May 2022 Somerset County Elections and South Somerset Parish Elections are now available.

There are two Statements of No Persons Nominated for the South Somerset Parish Elections, which can also be viewed online.

We advise using the ‘ctrl + F’ keyboard shortcut to launch the ‘find’ feature when viewing the documents to allow you to search for the relevant town or parish.

The Somerset County Council and South Somerset Parish Council elections are taking place on Thursday, 5 May 2022.

Poll cards have started to arrive at voter households across South Somerset for all those who are currently eligible to vote. If you have not yet received your poll card in the post, you may not be registered to vote. Be sure to register (or check that you are registered) before deadline at midnight, 14 April 2022. Not going to be home on the 5 May or unable to get to your polling station? There are a number of ways that you can vote in the May 2022 elections. You can also vote by post or by appointing someone you trust to vote on your behalf, known as a proxy vote.
