DBS update service

There has been a change to the Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Policy and we now need to carry out twice yearly DBS checks. 

We recommend that you register with the DBS update service as this will allow us to check your DBS online every 6 months instead of you having to apply for a DBS each time a check is required.

If you aren't registered with the DBS update service you will need to complete a DBS check each time a check is required.

If the certificate you have registered wasn't obtained through SSDC you will need to provide the certificate which is registered with the update service.
