Season tickets
We use a fully electronic ticket system called MiPermit which means that you will not need to display a paper season ticket in your vehicle.
Details of your season ticket are synchronised with our Civil Enforcement Officers hand-held devices so they can see in real-time that you have a valid ticket to park your vehicle.
To purchase or renew your season ticket you do not need to register with MiPermit. You can simply use the system to make your purchase. This will cover the use of one vehicle in the selected car park.
Registering a full account with MiPermit provides additional control over your ticket, such as the ability to edit daily which vehicle the season ticket applies. These alterations are free of charge.
If you are not able to apply or renew your season ticket online, you can also make payments by calling 0345 520 7007.

SSDC car parks with Electric Vehicle charging points
South Somerset has its own Environment Strategy which includes ambitious targets to help the district move towards carbon neutrality. Part of that work is also focused around facilitating a move away from fossil fuelled vehicles. This county EV Charging Strategy aligns well and compliments work already underway within the district. The Environment team have been working with partners to progress this action over couple of years.
